By Lady L on September 11, 2011 I was working as a teacher at a juvenile detention center when I read this book. I could have added to those stories with the ones that I was told by the juveniles locked up there. Eighty percent of the children locked up should not be there. Their parents or another adult should be there in their place. People would ask me how I could work with "Bad" kids. I would tell them they are not "bad" kids, they are kids with bad luck.
